Bow to confusion!
It is the fertile ground
from which great clarity blossoms
in its own sweet time.
It is not confusing,
when you bow.
Bow to anger!
It contains the power
of life itself.
It creates universes.
It rises suddenly to protect the organism.
It values your unique voice.
There is no violence,
when you bow.
Bow to sorrow.
It keeps the heart soft.
It grounds you in the awareness
of impermanence and change.
It is not depressing,
when you bow.
Bow to fear.
It is trying to protect you
from what you aren’t yet
ready to face.
It guides you gently
into the Unknown.
You are not afraid,
