At the International College for Personal and Professional Development, graduation is more than the completion of an academic programme – it is a moment and an opportunity to pause and celebrate a point on a transformative journey. It marks not only what has been learned, but also who each learner has become in the process. Throughout their programmes, learners engage in an inner journey as significant as any academic achievement: a journey of self-exploration, insight, and growth that often reshapes their understanding of themselves, the people around them and their communities.

The ICPPD graduation ceremony is a symbolic moment that invites reflection. It offers a gentle space to acknowledge the courage it takes to show up, the perseverance required to stay the course and the openness needed to grow. It is a shared moment of recognition – a time for learners, now graduates, to honour the challenges they have met, the connections that have taken shape along the journey and the personal evolution that has unfolded quietly and steadily.

At the January ceremony, we celebrated the achievements and journeys of learners who completed the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy and the Diploma in Supervision across Professions – a Holistic Approach. Two graduating learners from the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy offered personal reflections on behalf of their peers, each bringing their own voice and experience to the occasion.

Joanna Bowens, representing the Galway Class of 2025, shared an original poem drawing on her own unfolding journey. Through her words, she gave voice to the challenges, breakthroughs, and inner discoveries that had shaped her time in study, capturing the essence of the learning process with clarity, creativity, and heartfelt honesty.

Jacqueline Smyth, representing the Athlone Class of 2025, offered a thoughtful spoken reflection on behalf of her classmates. Her contribution highlighted the shared nature of learning – the support found in community, the transformative power of connection, and the personal insights that emerge when individuals engage deeply with both the course content and themselves.

These contributions are an important part of the graduation experience. They remind us that each learner’s journey is unique, yet woven into a collective story of growth, resilience, and self-discovery. By expressing their reflections, graduates honour the significance of their own paths while also giving voice to the shared experience of their peers.

ICPPD is deeply proud to acknowledge and celebrate these voices.

We extend heartfelt thanks to our graduates for sharing reflections that resonate not only with their graduating classes but also with the spirit of ICPPD itself – one that honours authenticity, awareness, and the ongoing journey of becoming. Their contributions remind us of the holistic nature of this journey, engaging body, mind, heart, and spirit in a way that reflects the true essence of transformative learning and growth.

We honour the remarkable achievements of our graduates. Each has walked a unique and courageous path – engaging body, mind, heart, and spirit in the pursuit of growth, understanding, and transformation.

We celebrate not only their accomplishments, but also the integrity, compassion, and presence they bring into the world. The college is deeply proud of every graduate, and we look forward with gratitude and confidence to the positive impact they will continue to make in the lives they touch.
