Introduction to Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy

If so, then you're invited to attend a free one-hour taster session for our Introduction to Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy course. Tuesday Sep. 12th from 7-8pm On Zoom

This taster session is conducted like a real class, so you can get a feel for what the course might feel like. 

We’ll cover some of the basic principles of holistic counselling and psychotherapy, and you’ll have the opportunity to participate in exercises and discussions. 

This will give you a chance to see if this approach is a good fit for you and your learning style.

Join Christine Moran

Dr. Christine Moran is the Academic Director at ICPPD and a founding member of ICPPD, New Beginnings Counselling, and Dear Precious Being Centre.

With a Doctorate in Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute, she holds an M.A in Holistic Development, a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Supervision, and is trained in Expressive Arts. An IACP accredited therapist and recipient of the IACP Carl Berkley award, Christine is a senior faculty member at the College, focusing on holistic and humanistic principles in training. She is the author of “Dear Precious Being” and has presented at global conferences.

Alan holds a Masters Degree and Graduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy from the University of Limerick. He has worked in private practice in Limerick and Ennis for many years. He has lectured on research on the Psychotherapy M.A. in U.L., and worked as a group facilitator on the M.A. in Music Therapy in U.L. Alan also holds a Higher National Diploma and Bachelors Degree in Irish Music, and has taught guitar on the B.A. in Irish Music and Dance at the Irish World Academy. As a professional musician he has toured extensively throughout Ireland and Europe with various artists. Alan’s interests include auto-ethnographic and heuristic approaches to research, personal development, and transpersonal approaches to psychotherapy. He continues to get great enjoyment from music, playing regularly in the Limerick and Ennis scene, as well as working on various recording projects. He values the personal development of student therapists and the effective integration of this with skills and theory.
