Diploma in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy

About

This programme is designed by, and delivered to you, by staff who are passionate and inspired about the merit of personal development and excellence in professional counselling and psychotherapy training and education.

Course Aim

The aim of the Professional Diploma in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy is to provide adult learners with the opportunity to explore and develop their interest in the field of holistic counselling and psychotherapy, and to thereby develop into informed, ethical, competent and compassionate professional practitioners. The programme invites, supports, and challenges trainee counsellors to engage with transformative counselling for body, mind and spirit. The therapist is seen as an instrument of change. The development of self-reflective awareness brings change, and inner change leads to outer change. The programme brings a unique perspective and unites two main applications of holism namely traditional counselling and psychotherapy training and transpersonal, holistic approaches. The holistic focus at ICPPD suggests a qualitative evolution arising from an integration of experience that results in greater knowledge, skills, creativity and spiritual growth.
